❝ Dhaos' relationship with Grune is... complicated. It's gotten to the point where he actually allows her to drag him into her silly excursions, and somehow she knows more about him and his past than anyone else in Luceti. He still can't believe the kind of situations he keeps getting himself into with her around, but he's at least learned that there's no way to avoid her. ❞

❝ With Mithos' recent attack on Grune and Yuan's story about the Age of Lifeless Beings and its connection to Derris-Kharlan, Mithos has lost any and all trust Dhaos might have once had in him-- which wasn't very much to begin with. Though allegedly the one responsible for putting life on Dhaos' home planet, Mithos is too violent and reminiscent of Reisen for Dhaos to bear anything but growing ill-will towards him. ❞

❝ Sheena has gotten past the automatic 'just another human' label Dhaos puts on most villagers, though there still isn't anything in the way of trust beyond basic truth-telling ability and tendency to not erupt in violence at the drop of a hat. They've actually had a civil conversation or two, and she was the one who alerted him to the gravity of Mithos' intentions for Derris-Kharlan, so Dhaos is willing to put aside the mistrust. She hasn't lied to him yet. ❞

❝ Yuan is, so far, the only person Dhaos considers an equal. Reserved, level-headed and very informed about Aselia and Derris-Kharlan's shared past, Yuan may have been deliberately hiding details about Derris-Kharlan from Dhaos, but can't really be blamed for deciding it was a bad idea. Dhaos is even less likely to reveal anything about himself or Derris-Kharlan and Aselia's future now, but after fighting alongside him during a draft, he knows Yuan can be trusted. ❞
