[What are you talking about, Dhaos? It's not like most of Grune's friends are human or anything.]

[He doesn't want to be horribly depressed all the time, really. Maybe this will actually prove to be some sort of distraction, even if there is always the possibility of genuine anger happening.]

[Beaming all the while, she takes his hands and tugs.] Let's go!

[Really, Dhaos has to stop himself from letting Grune drag him into things. He allows her to pull him along-- though at a much slower rate than she is no doubt tugging-- with a bit of an audible sigh.

Well, he can't stay angry forever.]

[Grune doesn't notice either the sigh or the reluctance--instead, she's happy. She's going to make Dhaos feel better, and she's going to help him make more friends. She's so glad she can do this for him.]
