At home. [Which is not very helpful, so Dhaos adds:] On Derris-Kharlan. Where I was born.

Derris-Kharlan? [Has she heard that name before?] That's a pretty name. It must be a nice place.

[Dhaos isn't really surprised, even if he'd rather Grune didn't forget something like that.] It was, once. That is my home, not this place.

[Dhaos seems a little upset, and so she gives his hand a squeeze to make him feel better.]

Don't worry. I'm sure you'll be able to see it again soon.

[If Grune knew what was good for her, she would just give up. Between angry reflections in mirrors and memories of home, there is just far too much out there capable of making Dhaos 'a little upset'.]

It is impossible. It is not something that can be accomplished in Luceti.

[Not that he'll stop trying, but that's for him to deal with. He doesn't need Grune's help when it is likely to be a losing battle.]
