With the kidnapping effect in place, the confusion in its subsequent removal, the return of Luceti Land, and the draft, Dhaos has had little time to reflect on anything that has happened since then. But now that everything has quieted down again, he can think...

If you are content to wait and let time take its course, then the world will have returned to nothingness long before you recall your purpose.

Those words were not meant for Dhaos, but the truth in them rang clear in his ears. Time might not move while he stays in Luceti, but he is no closer to saving Derris-Kharlan than he was when he arrived-- or when he left. And he's been in Luceti for half a year now.  Regardless of how helpless he might seem, sitting here and doing nothing would get him nowhere.  There was a planet waiting for him.

He doesn't trust the humans and half elves. Arche is an enemy. Kratos is a mystery. Yuan, while apparently trustworthy as far as Dhaos has seen, already knows more than him-- and is too intelligent for Dhaos to risk widening the knowledge gap between them by telling him what he knows. That leaves one person-- the one person from Aselia Dhaos knew for absolute certain would never intentionally compromise him.]

Anywho, regardless of his mood when she arrives, lostinmyway has decided it's about time she fulfilled that promise to introduce Dhaos to all her friends. If you are on Grune's CR chart, if you have ever spoken to Grune even once, or even if you've never met either of them in your life, Grune wants you to meet Dhaos. Come make the poor Demon King's life as awkward as possible!  He's also available at night, as always.]

[Giles is never one to turn down a call from Grune, provided that he's not actually busy with anything very important. Today, at least, he isn't, and he's glad of that, because things have gotten complicated again.

What she probably forgot to mention to him was that she wants him to spend more time with Dhaos...]

[Dhaos is... not in quite such a good mood, unfortunately. But about something completely different. While eh would rather not be in another's company in his current mood, there's really no stopping Grune, and maybe it'll help him get his mind off things.

[Grune is happy that Pommy agreed to help Dhaos make friends. He's already met the other Dhaos, but she doesn't think he's met the Dhaos she became friends with first. (Oh, my, it's a little confusing when they both have the same name.) But never fear--she's sure they'll both get along just as well.

[With the play coming up in the evening and the need to begin cooking for the party still hours away, Ginia has a very rare moment to spare to generally catch her breath and relax a little. When she hears from Grune, she jumps at the opportunity to see her friend.

So she might have left out the part about meeting someone new, but hey. It's Grune. All is forgiven.]

[Grune knew she could count on Ginia to help her out. It's too bad Alice can't come, too, because she's a little lonely like Dhaos, but Ginia is so nice and friendly that she knows Dhaos will feel much better as soon as he meets her.

[Ginia beams brightly as soon as she sees Grune. The tall blond man with her is a surprise, but her smile remains as she takes out a notepad to begin writing.]

[Okay, so Grune doesn't know Leonhardt at all, but he's out in the plaza at the moment and easy enough to run into.

And one look at him shows he's feeling kind of down, so obviously this is a great chance for Grune to cheer someone up and help Dhaos make a new friend. Win-win, right?]

[Right! Grune was looking around for one of her friends, but she certainly can't ignore someone who looks like that.

And so she grabs Dhaos by the hand and, indicating Leonhardt, says:] Oh, my, he looks a little sad. We should go cheer him up!

[Geez, Grune, today is for talking to people who have at least accepted your weirdness. Not complete strangers.

[ Well the cupcakes finally done for the new feather party and now he just has to make somethings for the after party of the play. Buut, well, he can manage to take a small break. It is Grune after all. And despite only have spoken a few times and none of which were of the best circumstances in the least, perhaps this time will go better.

Today, he's out more for the sake of exercise than anything, just finished pottering around the Memory Garden like he generally does. He doesn't notice Grune or Dhaos at first, but chances are, Grune will call attention to the little scientist sooner rather than later.

[Frederic had finished grocery shopping for the day and the preparations for the night of the play were complete. All Frederic had to do was get ready himself for the evening.]

Seeing Frederic leave the grocery store, Grune beams and once again tugs at Dhaos' hand.] Oh, my, it's Frederic! Come on, Dhaos, let's go say hello!

[They've met, but it is likely Grune would be seeking to reintroduce them on slightly better terms than the somewhat...unfortunate circumstances they have met under previously.

Fenimore can be found near house 34 inexpertly practicing the basic hand-to-hand techniques of the Kyoshi style she's been learning -- inexpertly, because she's only been learning any kind of combat for a few months. But she's at least got the basics fairly solidly, and she's concentrating on them enough that she will not notice the approach of the much bigger duo.]

Grune beams at the sight of Fenimore, hard at work in one of the few non-garden spaces remaining of their yard. Then she looks up at Dhaos, still glowing.] Oh, you have to say hello to Fenimore, Dhaos! She'll be very happy to see you!
